Shawn Pinder’s journey is one of resilience and redemption. After spending 18 years in prison for manslaughter, he emerged with a newfound purpose: to inspire and uplift others through the power of words. During his incarceration, Shawn wrote 11 books, including the bestselling novel ‘Consequences’ (July 2023), which catapulted him into the literary spotlight.
His work has garnered attention and accolades, including being featured as Caribbean Book of the Day (Nov 2023) and Baje Book for March 2024. As a motivational speaker, Shawn has shared his story with audiences at Daryll Jordan Secondary School, Graydon Sealy Secondary School, and Government Industrial School (Sept 2023), leaving a lasting impact on young minds.
